Obituary Lorraine Duncan Coffeyville resident Lorraine Duncan passed away on Sunday morning in Coffeyville. She was 99. She was born on September 21, 1907 in Trenton, Missouri to Oscar and Sylvia Mae Smith Carnell. She grew up and attended schools around Valeda, Kansas. She married Albert Duncan in Oswego on August 17, 1925. They made there home in Labette and later Montgomery Counties. She enjoyed needle work and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She had attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by daughter Wilma Manley of Hoisington, Kansas, Shirley Nutter of Coffeyville and Vernon Dean Duncan of Wichita. There are six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert Duncan, a son Melvin Wayne Duncan, a grandson Tony Manley, two brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Janaury 18, 2007 in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Gale Ellis will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 9 am till 9 pm to sign the guest register at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
