Lowell E. Norris, age 87, of Coffeyville, KS passed away on January 9, 2016 at Windsor Place.
Lowell was born on March 7, 1928 in Niotaze to Carl and Delsie (Williams) Norris. He attended grade school in Chautauqua and graduated from Field Kindley High School. After graduation Lowell worked for Page Milk and then served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged Lowell was introduced to Patsie Graham. The couple was blessed with two children. Lowell worked for Sherwin Williams as a traffic manager retiring in the late 80's. Lowell was a member of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, the VFW Post 1022, and a member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge 102. Lowell was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Left to honor is memory is his son Steve Norris, daughter Debbie Metzer, 2 brothers, and grandchild David Lipe. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patsie, and 3 brothers.
Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel and a memorial service will be held on January 23, 2016 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Dixon officiating.
