Lucille Harrington

Lucille Margaret Harrington 1912 2007 Lucille Margaret Harrington, age 94, longtime resident of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away on January 2, 2007, at her daughters home in Glendale, California. She was born February 19, 1912, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John T. Halloran and Elizabeth Burke Halloran. Lucille married William J. Harrington, Jr. on August 19, 1939. He preceded her in death on February 21, 1968. Lucille was also preceded in death by her parents, and her twin sisters, Eleanor Halloran and Cecilia Marie Longstreth. Mrs. Harrington was a homemaker and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She also taught at Holy Name School for several years. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Hermesmeyer of Glendale, California, and Elizabeth Krzywosz of Charlotte, North Carolina, Grandchildren are Temie Lehman of Ottowa Kansas, William Hermesmeyer of Fort Worth, Texas , John Hermesmeyer and Daniel Hermesmeyer of Glendale, California, and Keiko Krzywosz, and Koji Krzywosz of Charlotte, North Carolina. Great Grandchildren are Zachary Gaudet, Aaron Gaudet, Aaron Paul Lehman, Tanner Lehman, Joseph Hermesmeyer and Emma Hermesmeyer. Lucille loved her Kansas roots, was an avid participant at garage sales, flea markets and auctions. For many years she enjoyed driving long distances to visit her children and grandchildren in Texas and Missouri and later in California and North Carolina. Recitation of the Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, Kansas. Fr. Jerome Spexarth will be officiating. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2007, at the Holy Name Catholic Church, Coffeyville, Kansas. Fr. Jerome Spexarth will be officiating.
