MARCELLA MAE RICHARDS 1918-2005 Marcella Mae Richards, age 86, died early Friday morning, July 15, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville. She was born December 1, 1918, in Old Parker, Kansas the daughter of Sam and Margaret Andres Morris. . Marcella married Ed Richards on September 9, 1937, in Joplin, Missouri. He survives in the home. Marcella was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church where she was involved with many church organizations. She helped raise two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by one sister Elsie Perkins. Survivors include: 1 Son: John Richards, Jr. Coffeyville, Kansas. 1 Brother: Sam Morris Parsons, Kansas 2 Sisters: Dorothy Smith Coffeyville, Kansas Mary Morris Coffeyville, Kansas 2 Granddaughters 7 Great Grandchildren 4 Great Great Grandchildren Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2005, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville, Kansas with the Father Jerome Spexarth officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville. The rosary will be prayed at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. where she will lie in state from 1-8:00 p.m. Sunday.
