Martha Lou DeWitt 1935 - 2006 Martha Lou DeWitt, age 70, Coffeyville, Kansas resident passed away on February 16, 2006 at the St. Johns Medical Center, Joplin, Missouri. She was born September 27, 1935 to William Harrison amp; Mabel Anna Bennett Triebel in Edna, Kansas. She attended School in Edna, Kansas during her childhood. In 1951 she married Ernest Folk and they later
orced. In 1956 she married Donald D. DeWitt in Coffeyville, Kansas. He preceded her in death January 25, 1991. Mrs. DeWitt was a homemaker. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Debby Davis Jerry, Hoisington, Ks.; 4 sons, Ed DeWitt Judy, Hesston, Ks.; Eugene DeWitt, Pennsicola, Fl.; Vernon DeWitt and Daniel DeWitt both of Coffeyville, Ks.; 2 adopted daughters, Ruby Martin of Topeka, Ks.; Susan Sisco of Coffeyville, Ks. 2 step sons, J.D. Davis Rachel, Wichita, Ks.; Troy Davis Paula, Larned, Ks.; 1 step daughter, Tina Jones John, Herrington, Ks. 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren. 10 sisters, Becky McCormick, Edna, Ks.; Collen Harris, Columbus, Ks.; Mary Burris, Colorado Springs, Co.; Susie Gordon, Coffeyville, Ks.; Roberta Balthrope, Dustin, Ok.; Catherine Roldan, Edna, Ks.; Ruth Wynn, Garden City, Mo.; Ester Bracken, Duncan, Ok.; Nancy Johnson, Welch, Ok.; Donna Bracken, Ringling, Ok. 2 brothers, Dennis Hal Triebel, Conway, S.C.; Charles Triebel, Coffeyville, Ks. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Paul and James Triebel, 2 sisters, Wanda Hawthorne, Virginia Johnston. 1 step grandson, Jerod Jones and 1 step granddaughter, Shelby Davis. Calling Hours Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS 67337. Family will be present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to receive friends. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21 2006 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
