Mary Collins

Mary L. Collins, age 68, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery.

Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 with the family receiving friends at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Mary was born September 4, 1944 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She grew up in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Caney, Kansas with her mother Lonie Lee Alston. Mary attended schools in Caney, Kansas.

On May 31, 1985 Mary married Jarrett D. Collins in Coffeyville, Kansas where the couple made their home. Mary was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters Tammie Locke and husband Steve of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Ronda Perkins and husband Chris of Coffeyville, Kansas two brothers Gerald and wife Glenda Alston of Weatherford, Texas and Gene and wife Norma Jean Alston of Mineral Wells, Texas five grandchildren Josh, Jacob, Cody, Tommy and Kehly seven great grandchildren Madison, Jerry, Brooklyn, Kaden, Laney, Levi and Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jarrett and six brothers Jimmy, Obe, Jess, Bill, J.D., and Luther.
