Mary Crites

Mary Crites, age 76 of Coffeyville, KS went to meet the Lord on July 16, 2021 at her home. Mary was born August 10, 1944 in Coffeyville to Ansel and Ethena Howard. She married Robert M. Crites on May 12, 1962 in Coffeyville.

Mary was a foster parent for 17 years. She loved people and did her best to be helpful to those around her. She enjoyed going to church all her life and was attending New Vision of Coffeyville, KS and Emmanuel Chapel of South Coffeyville, OK until she became too ill to attend.

Mary leaves behind her husband Robert M Crites, her sons Robert L. Crites and wife Tina of Great Bend, KS and Michael Crites of Coffeyville, Roberts first wife Brenda Crites of Independence, KS, daughters; Beth Jones, Becky Crites both of Coffeyville, sisters; Helen Dake and husband John of Coffeyville, and Margaret Higgins of South Carolina, brothers; James Howard and Leonard Howard of Coffeyville, seven grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Pamela Crites, and bother Harry Crites.

Funeral services will held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Emmanuel Chapel South Coffeyville, OK at 10:00am. The service will be live streamed on Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel Facebook page. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The family suggests memorials be made payable to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
