Mary E. Ellis Mary Elma Ellis of Coffeyville, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Windsor Place. She was 76. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Graham will officiate. Interment will be in Robbins Cemetery. Friends may call to view and register Friday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday from 1-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until service time. The daughter of Howard Slear and Hazel Rose Bartlett Harman Sr., she was born July 28, 1931, in Coffeyville, KS. As a girl, she assisted her parents on their dairy farm in the West Brown area of Dearing, KS, where she attended country grade school. She graduated from Field Kindley High School 1950. On October 5, 1952, she was united in marriage to Jimmie L. Ellis in Huntsville, AR. They were later
orced. He survives in Coffeyville, KS. She was employed at ACCDana Corporation in Independence, KS, for 27 years before retiring in July of 1996. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Ellis loved raising flowers, gardening and horseback riding. In addition to her former husband, she is survived by two sons, Ricky L. Ellis of Coffeyville and Donald L. Ellis of Tulsa, OK; two daughters, Jimette M. Neese of Independence, KS, and Debra S. Warner of Coffeyville, KS; two brothers, HowardSonny Harman of Mountain Home, AR, and Wayne Harman of Drain, OR; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents and one sister, Alice Pearl Harman. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice or Windsor Place and may be left at the funeral home.
