Mary Estella Hoppock age 94, of Coffeyville, passed away on April 25, 2017 at Medicalodges of Coffeyville.
Mary was born on May 15, 1922 in Coffeyville to Edward and Minnie (Lovett) Billups. She attended and graduated from Lenapah High School. On April 13, 1940 she was married to Glenn Felton and the couple later divorced. She was then united in marriage to Eldon Hoppock on October 5, 1977 and they later divorced. Mary spent most of her working career as a waitress and a cook, working in Scappoose, Oregon, Independence, and Oswego, Kansas. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her sons; Edward Felton, and Allen Felton, daughters; Karen Smith and Catherine Shaffer, 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Glenn Felton and Ronald Felton, her brothers; Robert Billups and Billy Billups, sisters; Pearl O'Conner and Collene Jones.
Honoring Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel and graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Veterans Memorial Patio at 2:00pm with Chaplain Keith Springer with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice officiating.
