Mary Sue Lane Mary Sue Lane, 68, has left the earthly confines of life in Coffeyville, KS to be with her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2007. Mary Sue was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1939 to Charles and Mattie Collins of Antlers, Oklahoma. She spent her teenage years in Southern California attending High School at Cochella Valley and later attending Allan Hancock Community College with honors in Business Administration. She would ultimately meet the love of her life, Jack D. Lane, and marry him in Lompoc, California. She was the Mother to 7 children, Deborah Gaither and Vicky Ashmore of McKinney, TX, Kelly Oldham, Tracy Oldham and Rhonda Grossi of Coffeyville, KS; Robert Oldham of Springfield, MO and Pamela Oldham of Meridian, MS and 4 step-children, Shawna Kelley and Rick Lane of Coffeyville, KS and Mike and Mark Lane of California. She also had 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her lifes journey would take her to live in many places. Towns like Indio, Hinkley and Lompoc, CA; Perry and Orlando, OK and finally Coffeyville, KS. Her journey was filled with the laughter and tears of a high spirited, intelligent and passionate woman who was loved and respected by all. God was a constant part of her walk and she worshipped at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Ok as well as Life Ministries Church in Coffeyville. She could always be counted on to attend to anyone in need and was one heck of a cook. Mary Sue was also involved in womens ministries for many years at Emmanuel Chapel and Life Ministries. She was a patriot who loved her Country and kept herself informed on issues concerning such. She could debate current events with the best of them and a moment later pick up a crayon with a small child. She was either at home running her business or traveling down the highway with her husband on some spontaneous adventure. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two grandsons Justin Wayne Oldham and Robert Wayne Oldham. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Rev. James Feltner will be officiating. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the Garden of Hope.
