Mathilda Bruhn

Mathilda Florence Bruhn 1916 2007 Coffeyville resident, Mathilda Florence Bruhn, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at her residence. She was 91. Miss Bruhn was born February 1, 1916 to Henry and Mathilda Freda Burchardt Bruhn in Altamont, Kansas. She attended country schools around Angola, Kansas. Miss Bruhn worked for Kress Five amp; Dime Store downtown Coffeyville. Mathilda was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church of Coffeyville. Survivors include her three sisters, Elizabeth Bruhn amp; Violet Barker both of Coffeyville; Dorothy Sorensen, Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers amp; four sisters. Calling hoursvisitation: Miss Bruhn will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, on Thursday, April 19, 2007. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Fairview Cemetery of Coffeyville. Rev. Richard Peckman will be officiating.
