Maxine Duncan age 89 of Coffeyville, passed away on July 18, 2019 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Maxine was born on February 16, 1930 in Lane, KS to JD and Irene Nictcher. She graduated from Field Kindley High School. After graduation she worked for South Western Bell. She was united in marriage to Roy Duncan on November 21, 1948, the couple made their home in Coffeyville. They were blessed with four daughters; Maxine was a wonderful mother who loved taking care of her family and the family home. Maxine has been a long time and very active member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Maxine’s memories will live on with her daughters, Nancy Simmons her husband Larry, Carol Stephens her husband Kyle, Peggy Lewman her husband Greg, and Patti Porter her husband Tom, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and her sister Jessie Drumeller.
She now rests with her parents and beloved husband of 66 years Roy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Diane Massey officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the First Presbyterian Church and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
