May Clemons

Elanor May Clemons, 96, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Medicalodge in Coffeyville. She was born May 31, 1913 in Parsons, Kansas to Arthur Yandle and Maude Karnes Yandle. May was raised and attended school in Oswego, Kansas where she married Orville Clemons in 1931. The couple lived in Oswego until they moved to Coffeyville in 1949. It was there that they would spend the rest of their years together. May was a devoted homemaker and mother. Survivors include son Duane Clemons and wife Sue of Glenpool, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Elanor May Clemons will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville. Friends may call at PenwellGabel Funeral Home in Coffeyville on Thursday, March 18, from noon until 8:00P.M.
