Michael Emory Wise, 49, Coffeyville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005, at his home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Michael was born August 31, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Emory Frank and Kathryn Lucille Atkinson Wise. Michael was a Union Sheet Metal Journeyman belonging to the Local 2 Union based out of Kansas City, Missouri. He worked on many large construction sites including the Kansas Speedway, Nuclear Power Plants and the Cessna Aircraft Facility in Independence, Kansas. Michael attended West Coffeyville Grade School and graduated from Field Kindley High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville and worked with the Salvation Army in Coffeyville. Survivors include: Parents: Emory and Kathryn Wise Coffeyville 1 Son: Daniel Emory Wise Parsons, Kansas 1 Brother: Steve L. Wise and his wife Jamie Coffeyville 1 Sister: Vicki Storm and her husband Glenn South Coffeyville Fiance: Vickie McCarter Coffeyville A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Chapel with the Dr. Wayne Norton officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Union Cemetery. Mr. Wise will lie in state from 1-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Chapel.
