Miguel Mike P. Adame 1953 - 2006 Miguel Mike P. Adame, age 52, Coffeyville, Kansas resident passed away on Monday evening, March 13, 2006. He was born November 16, 1953 to Miguel Adame and Tillie Fernandez Adame Rivera in Los Angeles, California. Miguel was a 1971 graduate of Sylmar High School in Sylmar, California. His family later moved to Grayson, California and Miguel enlisted in the US Army in Modesto, California. The Adame family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas in 1983 from Grayson, California. He married Jeannie Adame in Las Vegas, Nevada and they later
orced. He most recently served with the 1011th and was stationed in Baghdad, Iraq returning home to Coffeyville in 2004. Miguel was a US Army Veteran serving for more than 20 years, retiring in 2005. Miguel was employed with Spears Manufacturing, Caney, Kansas for around 15 years in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, VFW Post 1022, American Legion Post 20 all of Coffeyville, Kansas. Survivors include: Mother, Tillie Rivera, Coffeyville; 3 brothers, Ernie Adame, Coffeyville; Frank Adame, Havelock, N.C.; Edward Adame, Coffeyville; 1 sister, Angela Alvarado, Patterson, Ca; 3 step-children, Tina Gonsalez, Kathy Bernal and Ismael Gonsalez of Modesto, Ca. amp; 1 son, Mario Serna, Los Angeles, Ca.; 14 step-grandchildren. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Miguel, 1 brother, Salvador, step-father, Martin Ruben Rivera. Calling hoursVisitation: The body will lie in state on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday evening, 6:00 p.m., March 17, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS. 67337. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS. 67337. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. Ft. Riley Big Red One, Ft. Riley, Kansas will be conducting Military Rites.
