Muriel Pollet

Muriel Minnie Pollet 1913 2007 Muriel Minnie Pollet, age 93, entered into rest on January 16, 2007 at her sons residence in DeSoto, Texas. Muriel was born in Rural Welch, Oklahoma on June 15, 1913 to James Wesley Burtrum and Nellie Martin Burtrum. On July 3, 1933 she married Harold Pollet on their home place 2 miles west of Tyro, where they made their home for 70 years. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1980. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Coffeyville. Mrs. Pollet was a homemaker. Survivors include her 2 sons, Wesley Pollet of DeSoto, Tx; Harry Pollet of Ropesville, Tx.; 1 daughter, Heroldine Shy, Coffeyville, Ks. 8 Grandchildren, 4 Greatgrandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, 4 brothers, 1 sister. Visitationcalling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville. Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, 1:00 p.m., January 25, 2007 at the Robbins Cemetery, West of Coffeyville, Kansas. Family will gather at the graveside prior to services.
