Nancy Jean Yeubanks, 60, of Coffeyville, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nancy was born January 22, 1949 at Coffeyville to Kenneth P. King and Ada Marie Scott King. She grew up in Coffeyville and spent most of her life in the area. Nancy began her education in Coffeyville and graduated from Labette County High School as a part of the Class of 1968. She married Gene Yeubanks on May 5, 1972 and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2008. Nancy worked at Acme Foundry over 20 years as a Core Room Filer. She was a member of the Coffeyville American Legion and loved music, following her late husband in the bands her performed with. Nancy loved her family and was known for her fried chicken and was crazy about her three dogs. Survivors are her son, Scott Yeubanks of Coffeyville, Kansas; her daughter, Teresa Robertson of Coffeyville; two step-sons, Raymond Yeubanks and Joe Coy, both of Coffeyville; two step-daughters, Tammy Enloe of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Sandra Love of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; three brothers, Thomas King of Augusta, Kansas, Virgil Eastham, Jr. of Nowata, Oklahoma and Ronald Hand of Coffeyville, Kansas; two sisters, Rita Lakey of Garden Plain, Kansas and Della Stalford of Independence, Kansas; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and her three daschunds, Baby, Britches and Bitty Bit, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband; by a step-father, Virgil Eastham, Sr.; and by one brother, Bobby King. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Dr. Wayne Norton officiating. Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register from 9am-8pm, Thursday.
