Nellie J. Corle Moore 1910 - 2006 Nellie J. Corle Moore, age 96, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Caney Nursing Center, Caney, Kansas. She was born May 31, 1910 in Rural Caney, Kansas to Frank L. Corle amp; Viva O. Key Corle. As a child she attended country school in the LeHigh community. On June 14, 1935 she married Loris L. Moore in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They made their home in rural Caney area when they were first married and then later moved to Havana, Kansas. Loris preceded her in death September 13, 1985. Nellie was a homemaker. Mrs. Moore has lived in the CaneyHavana, Kansas area all her life. She raised cattle, hogs and chickens and delivered eggs to many local families in Caney and Independence, Kansas area. She enjoyed embroidery, fishing and gardening. Mrs. Moore was a member of the CaneyHavana United Methodist Church. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Deloris Vaughan, Richard, Caney, Ks.; 5 sons, Dean Moore, Pat, Liberty, Ks.; Larry H. Moore, Berta Harold Havana, Ks.; Walt Moore, Linda, Havana, Ks.; Lyall Moore, Judy, Arkansas City, Ks.; Ronnie Moore, Mary, Winfield, Ks. 14 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, 13 Step Great Great Grandchildren. 1 brother, Elmer Corle, Butte, Idaho. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, 6 brothers, 2 infant twin sisters, 2 grandsons, 1 step-grandson. Calling hoursVisitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, June 26, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS. 67337. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS. 67337. Pastor Brad Sanders will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Havana Cemetery, Havana, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the Havana United Methodist Church, Havana, Ks. co Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
