Nona Aleene Pendleton Nona Aleene Pendleton of Coffeyville, KS, died Thursday, October 21, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was 76. Cremation has taken place under the direction of PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Alluwe Baptist Church in Alluwe, OK. Rev. Weldon Foster will officiate. The daughter of Ernest and Ruth Kinslow, she was born February 22, 1934, at Racine, MO, where she received her education. She was united in marriage to Rex Tapp in 1956. The couple moved to Coffeyville and were later divorced. On July 3, 1977, she was united in marriage to Carl Pendleton in Coffeyville. He survives at the home. Mrs. Pendleton worked as a nurses aide for the Golden Age Lodge, Windsor Place and Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Alluwe Baptist Church in Alluwe, OK. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Roger Earl Tapp of Webb City, MO four stepdaughters, Brenda Jaimez, Sheri Conn and Gayla Corser, all of Coffeyville, KS, and Carla VanCleave of Wichita, KS one halfbrother three halfsisters four grandchildren 11 stepgrandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents one son, Tom one daughter, Patricia and one sister, Dorothy. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Disabled American Veterans or the Alluwe Baptist Church.
