Obituary Olivia M. Neal The sun rose on the beautiful life of Olivia Marcella Patt on June 10, 1917 in Kanawha, Texas. She was born the only child of George and Linnie Johnson Patt. The sun set on her life January 11, 2007 at her home in Coffeyville. She was 89. Olivia was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she received her childhood education. The family later moved to Coffeyville where she completed her education at Field Kindley Memorial High School. She met and married her long time mate of seventy-three years George Arron Neal. To this union two children were born Sylenthus and Madeleine. As a young woman, Olivia became an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and served on many committies as an inspiring saint to all who knew her. Her passion for words made her a great public speaker and did very well when called upon. She worked various jobs and later retired from the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving husband, George Neal of the home, devoted son and daughter-in-law, Sylenthus and Doris Neal of Coffeyville; daughter and son-in-law, Madeleine and Walter McAlester; a grandaughter Andrea all of Denver, Colorado; there are also ten other grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren and a host of many family and friends. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Colbert will officiate and burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm to sign the guest register.
