Opal Reeves

Opal Reeves, 91, South Coffeyville, OK passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012, at First Southern Baptist Church Reverend James Relkman will officiate Burial will follow in Rest lawn Cemetery in Coffeyville. The family will greet visitors 4:00 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at PenwellGabel Ford Wulf Burns Chapel. Opal was born October 5, 1920 in Veleda, KS to Frank B. and Hazel Bell Sanders. Opal graduated Field McKinley High School in 1938. She Married Cecil Mansfield and the couple later divorced. She married Delmer Reeves in 1946 the couple had been married for 65 years. She was employed by Comet Mobile Homes and Cress Five and Dime during her working career. Opal was a life member of WrightHoffman HDU, and a 47 year member of First Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Sandy Pitman and her husband Floyd, South Coffeyville, OK Linda Tucker and her husband Rick, Independence, KS 4 sons, Charles Mansfield, and wife Doris, South Coffeyville, OK Frank Mansfield, and wife Mary, South Coffeyville, OK Wesley Reeves and wife Gaylee, Wann, OK Jerry Reeves and wife Lee Ann, Wann, OK She is also survived by 16 grand children, 38 great grand children, and 11 great great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband , 2 brothers Don and Jimmie Sanders, 3 sisters, Edith Mansfield, Emma Bauer, and Olafay Sanders, 1 grand daughter and 1 greatgreat grand daughter.
