Pamela JeanPam Blackbourn, 48, Coffeyville, KS died Sunday at her home in Coffeyville. Pam was born May 1, 1962 at Bakersfield, California to Marion Floyd Blackbourn and Fay Etter Blackbourn. She spent the first six years of her life in Bakersfield, before moving to Dearing, Kansas and later, on to Coffeyville. Pam attended school in both Dearing and Coffeyville. She worked for the Coop Refinery in Coffeyville, but most of her working life was spent as a journeyman construction worker. Pam was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She enjoyed a good jigsaw puzzle and used her carpentry and electrician skills on many projects for herself, her friends and her family. Pam loved to sit and draw, especially wildlife scenes. Survivors are her mother, Fay of Coffeyville two sons, Shawn Friend of South Carolina and Jeremy Andrew BlackbournPatchett, who currently stationed in Afghanistan as a member of the Kansas National Guard one brother, Wayne Blackbourn and his wife, Debbie of Waverly, Kansas one sister, Chris Cunningham and her husband, Kenneth of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma and six nieces, Heather Ellsworth, Katie, Kelsey and Hali Blackbourn, Laura Cunningham and Tracy Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her father. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Veterans Patio in Coffeyvilles Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Martin officiating. Service and interment are under the direction of PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel. Friends may sign the register book, Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the funeral home. The family will be on hand to receive guests from 45pm. Those who wish may give to the American Diabetes Association, and donations may be left at the funeral home.
