Pamela Sue Mills January 30, 1963 January 30, 2007 Pamela Sue Mills, loving wife and mother, of Coffeyville entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2007, her 44th birthday. Pam was passionate about her family and helping others. She was devoted to her husband of 24 years, Les, and their son, Josh. Everyone who knew Pam knew of her constant love and care for people around her. She was the extra mother to countless young men and women. She was an assistant coach for the CCC Lady Ravens Softball team, numerous summer softball teams, youth basketball and a variety of other recreational activities. All the kids knew that Mama Mills would have a kitchen full of food and a house full of love. Pam was an avid fisherwoman. She could fill the freezer with crappie in record time. She had three dogs that were her canine kids; Buster, Biscuit and Baby. They could be found waiting at the door forMama to come home with treats. Pam was a highly valued employee of Matcor Metal Fabrication of Independence, Kansas. She was previously employed with the Coffeyville Recreation Commission. As was our wonderful Pam, she worked tirelessly with special needs citizens and senior programs. Pam was an accomplished student and athlete during her high school years in Dewey, Oklahoma. She graduated in 1981as Editor of the Dewey High School Yearbook, Basketball Queen, Senior Superlative, Most Athletic and a three sport All-State Athlete. True to Pams mission to serve others, she chose to be an Organ Donor. Her final gift will help improve the lives of over 70 people Pam was born to Lillie Sue Templeton Williams and Frank L. Williams on January 30, 1963 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband, Les Mills and son, Josh Mills, both of Coffeyville, her mother, Lillie Sue Lester and her husband, Harlan, of Bartlesville, Ok.; her father, Frank L. Williams of Grove, Oklahoma; her brother, Gary Williams and wife, Kath, of Jenks, Oklahoma; her mother and father-in-law, George and Carol Mills of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; her brother-in-law, Don Mills and his wife, Teresa, of Bentonville, Arkansas; two nephews, Andrew Williams and Taylor Mills and two nieces, Christine Williams and Ashley Mills. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave in Coffeyville on Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Church of Christ in Coffeyville. Burial will follow in the Dewey Cemetery. Minister Clint Howard will be officiating.
