Patricia Long

Patricia J. Long, age 80, passed away on February 15 in Springfield, Missouri, where she had lived for the past 10 years. She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas, on January 21, 1929, to her parents Nancy Ann and Daniel Thomas Hendricks. Patricia spent most of her adult life in Coffeyville, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Patricia is survived by her son, Jeff Archer of Springfield and her daughter, Connie of Houston, Texas. Other surviving family includes two grandchildren, Lindsay Penniman and Scott Archer, and four great-grandchildren. She also has a surviving niece, Donna Lyerla, living in Pittsburg, Kansas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Dr. Wayne Norton will officiate. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to sign the guest register. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Coffeyville.
