Patricia Ilene (Gowen) McGee, age 70 was welcomed to her eternal heavenly home on June 27, 2017 at CRMC after a battle of cancer.

Patricia was born on November 11, 1946 to Claude and Lenora (Harvey) Gowen in Coffeyville, Kansas she attended school in Coffeyville, Kansas graduating from Field Kindley High School later attending classes at Coffeyville Community College. On June 21, 1964 she married the love of her life James Charles McGee, the couple just celebrated their 53rd Anniversary, and together they made their home in Coffeyville. Patricia worked at Gibson's and for USD 445 until her retirement, she attended the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church and she was also an avid member of the Democratic Party. Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother and friend, she cherished every moment with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are; husband, James McGee of the home; her mother, Lenora Gowen; children, Lori Ann and husband Rick Bryant of Broken Arrow, OK, Sandra Kay and husband Kelly Wintjen of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren, Angelica and husband Jeff Tobey of Broken Arrow, OK, Kelli Egermeier of Broken Arrow, OK, James P McGee of Broken Arrow, OK, Cody and Ivy Wintjen of Florida; great-grandchildren, Regan, Madison, Abigail and Riley Lara, Christopher and Logan Wiles, Jacob Dake, Aislynn McGee, Claudia Hugo, Taylor-Jo Egermeier, Cael, Braedyn, Sydney, Nikita Wintjen. She was preceded in death by her dad, Claude Gowen.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at Noon at the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, 416 W. 2nd Street, Coffeyville, KS. Pastor John Dixon will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. The family has suggested memorials be made payable to ASPCA or Tatman Cancer Center of Coffeyville, contributions may be left with the chapel.
