Patricia Powers

Patricia L Powers age 77 of Coffeyville passed away on November 7, 2017 at Windsor Place.

Patricia was born in Coffeyville on February 29, 1940 to Joseph E and Alice L (Pierce) Powers. She attended schools in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley High School in 1958. She continued her education at Coffeyville Junior College and then Pittsburg State University. Patricia joined the workforce as a medical transcriptionist for Coffeyville Regional Medical Center before moving to Tulsa. She found employment with Saint Francis Hospital as a medical transcriptionist then she was promoted as a personal administrator for the Radiation Therapy department. After her retirement she moved to Bartlesville and then returned home to Coffeyville. Patricia loved helping others and during her stay at Windsor Place she operated a booth at the Eden Alternative store to benefit the animals of Windsor Place. Animals were another passion of hers, she absolutely adored pets especially her cat Mandy. Her family and friends will remember her loving, tender heart and beautiful personality.

Those left to honor her memory are her brothers, Jeff and Ronald Powers, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Veteran's Memorial Patio at Fairview Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Eden Alternative Fund at Windsor place and they may be sent in care of the Chapel.
