Patrick Mccartney

Patrick Allan McCartney age 60 of Edna passed away June 11, 2021 at his home.

Pat was born on July 9, 1960 in Coffeyville to John O and Ruby L (Martin) McCartney. Pat attended grade school in Edna and then high school at Labette County High School with the class of 78. Pat began working for Funks, Emmerson, and then started his career in trucking; driving for Transwood. Pat was blessed with a son Bryan. He enjoyed classic cars, his dog, and watching old westerns. Pat had a knack for telling the best jokes, he always had a joke to tell and if someone down in the dumps he was there to make them laugh and put a smile on their face. Pat was just fun to be around and the world will be a little less fun without his presence.

Pat’s memories will live on with his son Bryan McCartney of Phoenix, AZ, his brother John McCartney, and six nieces.

He now rests with his parents John and Ruby and sister-in-law Lorey McCartney

Graveside memorial services will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00pm at the North Edna Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Crosstimbers Community Church Building Fund and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
