Patrick "Pat" Smith

Patrick Lee Smith of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 in his home.

Pat was born on September 25, 1963, to Kenneth and Dorothy (Deller) Smith in Coffeyville, Kansas.  Pat was one of six children.  He attended grade school at Longfellow Elementary, completing his education in the 8th grade.  Pat worked for Ivan Morrow Foundry, Spears Manufacturing and spent 29 years working for Acme Foundry.

Pat married Lisa Slaton in 1987 and in 1989 the welcomed their only son, Jamie into this world.  The couple later divorce in 2000 but remained to be friends.

Pat loved his son with all his heart and would do anything in the world for him.  He enjoyed watching Jamie play video games or frequently played video games with him, he also enjoyed watching TV or hanging with friends or watching movies.

He was a super likable guy and enjoyed his friends and everyone he ever worked with.

Pat is survived by his son, Jamie Smith of the home; brother, Frank Smith and his wife Dee; sister, Kathy Mitchell and her husband Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Peggy Slaton and two brothers, Kenny and Ralph Smith.
