Paul Lacy Alexander, age 64 passed way on February 11, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Paul was born on October 19, 1952 to Lee and Joyce Nadine (Cooper) Alexander in Coffeyville, Kansas. Paul attended schools in Coffeyville until he entered the US Army on December 3, 1971 and received an honorable discharge on December 3, 1973.
Paul was injured at a very young age leaving him unable to walk but that didn't affect him from lending a hand to his friends and family. He enjoyed playing chess, dominoes, and watching scary movies. He was quite the practical jokester as well.
Paul is survived by his daughters , Cornetta Perkins and Khalida Thompson-Walker, children he loved as his own, Paul Alexander, Quinton Alexander, Ellissia Kendrex-Clark, Veloriya Alexander, Lace Alexander; brother, Earl P Lacy; sister, Verna Lee Sanders; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friday February 17, 2017 a Memorial Home Coming Service will be held at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas at 3:00 pm. Pastor Jeff Colbert of St. James United Methodist Church will officiate. The family has ask that Memorial Contributions be left with Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel to help defray funeral expenses.
