Peggy Sanford

Peggy J Sanford of Coffeyville Kansas left this earth on November 15, 2019 to be with her husband Mike Sanford the love of her life.

Peggy was born in Mound Valley Kansas on August 6, 1949 to Clyde H. and Pearl (Ramsey) Peyton. She was married to Steve Sprague in 1971 and the couple later divorced. Peggy then met Mike Sanford and they were united in marriage in 1985. The couple shared 25 years of marriage before Mike passed in 2010. Peggy owned and operated the Soft Touch Hair Salon for many years she was also a foster parent to many children during their time of need.

Peggy’s memories will live on with her children; Melinda Sprague Corona, Stephanie Davis and Melissa Kastler, Brelyn, Christopher and Johnathan Sanford, 3 sisters, a brother, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

She now rests with her parents and husband Mike.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Eagle Rock Ministries at 10:00am. Private burial will take place at a later date at the Mound Valley Cemetery.
