Phillip Ray Carriker, 57, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at his home. Phillip was born January 29, 1955 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Floyd and Georgia Phillips Carriker. Phillip grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools. He was self employed as a contract laborer until retiring from disability in 2000. Phillip was of Pentecostal faith. He had been baptized. He enjoyed fishing, camping, Nascar racing, creative artwork and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving to honor his memory is his fianc, Tonya Moses of the home and her son, Richard son, Justin Carriker of Coffeyville daughters, Bridget Forester of Coffeyville, Crystal Czarnick of Columbus, Nebraska, Holly Burke of California nine grandchildren brothers, Gregory Carriker and Steve Carriker both of Coffeyville sisters, Linda Knisley and Glenda Carriker both of Coffeyville and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Georgia Carriker. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Pastor Jim Feltner will officiate. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Funeral Home to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
