Ralph Smith

Ralph Allen Smith, 56, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at CRMC.

Ralph was born on September 18, 1958 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Kinneth and Dorothy (Deller) Smith. He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools. He worked odd jobs around town for several years.

On September 6, 1980 he married Mary Koehlhoeffer at the First Church of the Nazarene in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple made Coffeyville their home. They had three children, David, Heath and Samantha Smith. He liked the outdoors, guns, going to car shows and the zoo. He collected knives and liked to be outside and spend time with his family.

Surviving to honor his memory is his loving wife, Mary of the home; sons, David Smith and wife Christi of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Heath Smith and wife, Dawn of Edna, Kansas; daughter, Samantha Smith of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren, Raquel and Rebel Smith; brothers, Frank Smith and wife Dee of Coffeyville, Kansas, Pat Smith of Coffeyville, Kansas; sisters, Kathy Mitchell and husband, Bill of Coffeyville, Kansas, Peggy Seaton and husband Dwain of Dearing, Kansas.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Kinneth and Dorothy; a grandson, Wyatt Smith and his brother, Kinney Smith.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 3pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
