Coffeyville resident, Reba Maxine Campbell, entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2008 in Coffeyville. She was 85. Reba was born February 22, 1923 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Mathew Simpson and Nancy Ann Inman Simpson. She attended Coffeyville Schools through Junior High. She married Merle W. Campbell on January 1, 1947, in Arkansas. They made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas and the surrounding area. She was previously employed by Sears Roebuck and Company before retiring and becoming a home maker. Survivors include nieces, M. Louise Furnas, Coffeyville, KS, Carol Elaine Gary Kessler, Cherryvale, Kay Jim Dies, Wichita and nephews, Loren Timothy Vicki Elleman, Benedict, KS, Richard Connie Hunt, Lees Summit, MO, Dan Campbell, Los Angeles, CA and special friends, Cohen and Lorene Richardson, Coffeyville. Reba was predeceased by her husband, her parents and sister, Anna Rose Elleman. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at Robbins Cemetery of Coffeyville with Chaplain, Mike Graham to officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 to sign the guest register at Penwell-Gabels Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or to Asbury Village and may be left with the funeral home.
