RebeccaBecky Elaine Maritt 1951 2007 RebeccaBecky Elaine Maritt, age 56, entered into rest on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at her residence in Coffeyville, Kansas. Rebecca was born February 11, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas her parents Lyle amp; Mildred Phelps and Dean amp; Betty Noland Wood. She graduated from Anderson High School in Anderson, Missouri in 1969. In June of 1976, Rebecca married Bob Maritt in Coffeyville, Kansas. Rebecca worked for Dr. Blaich in Coffeyville as a Dental Assistant for 17 years. She was also a volunteer for Hospice. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Lyle Phelps and Dean Wood, a brother, Roger Wood, and two grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Maritt. Survivors include: Husband, Bob Maritt of Coffeyville, Ks.; her mothers, Betty Wood, Coffeyville, Ks.; Mildred Phelps, Shawnee Mission, Ks. Four daughters, Dawn Weaver, Bristow, Oklahoma; Joyce Fisher amp; Becky Stapleton of Coffeyville, Kansas and Vicky Schoonover of Wichita, Kansas. One son, Jim Maritt of Edna, Kansas, 4 sisters, Linda Baker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bessie Lohman of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Linda George and Deana Nellen of Coffeyville, Kansas; one brother, Larry Wood of Wichita, Kansas; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Rev. Phil Brownlee amp; Rev. Marvin Schoonover will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, N of Coffeyville. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS 67337.
