Regina Lynn Dean Coffeyville resident, Regina Lynn Dean, age 43, passed away on Saturday morning, September 23, 2006 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Regina was born on February 7, 1963 in Coffeyville to Herman and Lauretta Coleman Pitts. She attended Coffeyville Schools and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School Class of 1981. She earned her associates degree from Coffeyville Community College in 1987. Regina married Jackie Darnell Dean on March 28, 1983. She was employed as a Store Manager for Taco Tico Restaurant for 15 years, and a Store Manager for Long John Silvers Restaurant for the past 12 years. She was a member of Sardis First Missionary Baptist Church, Coffeyville, Kansas Her favorite past-times included reading, watching her favorite soaps and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Darnell Dean, two sons, Jackie Darnell Dean II, and Demitri Dean; a sister Cheryl Youngblood, Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers, Cornell Granville, San Diego, California, Markham Granville, Houston Texas and Stacy Pitts, Coffeyville, Kansas, many nieces and nephews and her dog Gucci. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lauretta Pitts, Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 2:00 PM, September 27, 2006 at Sardis First Missionary Church, Coffeyville, Kansas. The casket will be closed for the services but friends may call on Tuesday from 9 am until 9 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel where the casket will be open.
