RichardRick Dean Bryant of South Coffeyville, Okla., passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the age of 52 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa after an extended illness. Rick was born to Bill and Shirley Bryant on November 25, 1959 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was the baby of the family, growing up with three older sisters. He attended South Coffeyville Elementary School and graduated from Lenapah High School in 1978, where he was very active in sports. He married CynthiaCindy Sisco on February 14, 1989. They had two sons, Ricky Lee and Billy Dean. Rick was a hard worker all his life and worked at various places including Learjet in Wichita, Kan., Acme Foundry, Coffeyville Resources Refinery, Coffeyville Nitrogen Plant, BD Roofing, Pollet Construction and Downing Construction. He was an active supporter of South Coffeyville 4H and FFA programs. He also supported the South Coffeyville Booster Club. He enjoyed working with farm animals and recently received the Honorary Chapter Farmer Award from South Coffeyville FFA. He was a loyal fan of the OU Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs and he never missed a Coffeyville InterState Fair and Rodeo. Survivors include his parents, Bill and Shirley Bryant of South Coffeyville, Okla. his wife, Cindy Bryant, of the home his sons, Billy Dean Bryant of the home and Ricky Lee Bryant of Wichita, Kan. his sister, DeborahDebbie Lee and husband, Bobby, of South Coffeyville, Okla. sister, Sherri Morgan and husband, Adrian, of Caney, Kan. and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patti Bryant. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Jimmy Harrington and Reverend Joel Downing will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for the family at Welch State Bank the Richard Bryant Memorial Fund.
