Robert N. Lee of Coffeyville, KS passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO. He was 76. Mr. Lee was born on December 15, 1933 in Welch, OK to Robert Edward Lee and Alma Lee Howe. He grew up in the Coffeyville area where he attended school. He served in the Air Force until 1956. On April 3, 1957 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Susan Kinney in Burlington, N.J. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Bob studied water treatment at a trade school in Neosho, MO but went on to have a career as a Pipefitter for the Union for about 20 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1022, Coffeyville American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and Shriners. He enjoyed reading western novels, traveling with his wife and time with his friends and family. Bob always stayed busy, odd jobs around the house, drives through town, tending to their garden. He loved his job working part time security for Parmac. Surviving to honor his memory is his wife, Susan of the home they shared for 53 years son, Bobby J. Lee and wife, Linda of Coffeyville. KS daughter, Karen S. Styers and husband, David of Collinsville, OK son, Christopher J. Lee of Bartlesville, OK six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alma. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Pastor Mark Wilson will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register at the funeral home. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donors choice. Memorial can be left with the funeral home.
