Robin D. Bucher 1933 - 2005 Robin D. Bucher, age 72, Coffeyville, Kansas resident passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the South Crest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born August 16, 1933 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Tilden and Mary Holzwarth Bucher. He was a 1951 graduate of Field Kindley Memorial High School. He served in the US Army following high school and was stationed in Alaska. He received a Bachelors Degree from Pittsburg State University in Secondary Education. He taught high school for several years. He later moved to North Kansas City, Missouri where he retired from Owens Corning Corporation. He moved back to Coffeyville after retiring in 1999. He is survived by one brother, Stephen Bucher, Kansas City, Missouri; three sisters, Lois Featherston, Oregon City, Oregon; Fern Brady, Brunning, Nebraska; Anita Sowell, Coffeyville, Kansas. He was preceded in death by parents, one brother, Charles Bucher, two sisters, Virginia Tubb and Irene Looper. Funeral Services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., December 12, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Rev. Rich Jenkins, First Southern Baptist Church, Coffeyville, Kansas will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. Calling HoursVisitation: The body will lie in state on Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
