Robin Lamb age 57 passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
On January 11, 1963 Frederick G. Lamb and Velda A. (Enloe) Lamb welcomed their first-born child into this world, Frederick Robin Lamb in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was known to his family and friends as Robin. In 1975 the Lamb family moved to South Coffeyville where Robin attended grade school, and he graduated from Lenapah High School.
Robin married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Tammy (Marlow) Lamb on December 13, 1981. Soon after their union they traveled the United States for Robin to pursue being a rock star. When the music career didn’t pan out, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and moved his family to California during his duty. Robin received his honorable discharge in 1987. Robin, Tammy and two of their daughters returned to South Coffeyville where they made their home.
Robin enjoyed life, despite his brother’s opinion he was a devout OU fan; he loved music; golfing, fishing taking cruises with his wife, and making people laugh. Robin was the best Dad and hero a girl could ask, to his three daughters. His grandchildren were blessed with the best Poppy. He loved being a Dad but the joy he found in his grandchildren was unmeasurable.
Robin will be missed by many, but his family will miss him most. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tammy of the home; daughters, Meghan and her husband Kenton Adams, Jade Dolan and Miranda and her husband Christopher Deaton; grandchildren, Aubrey, Eryn, Kaylee, Summer, Klay, Carter, Emma “Moosey”, Finn “Shark Bait Hoo Haw Haw”; parents, Fred and Velda Lamb; brothers Wade Lamb and his wife Tia, Tony Lamb and his wife Pam, Mike Lamb and his wife Barbara; brother-in-law, Rockey Allison; numerous, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, granddaughter, Harper Jo and sister, Karon Allison.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1 pm at the South Coffeyville First Baptist Church, 506 Shawnee St, South Coffeyville, OK 74072.
