Ronald Thomas

Ronald “Craig” Thomas age 59 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Craig was born on April 14, 1963, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Ronald “Bub” D. and Danna (Partain) Thomas.  He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended grade school and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1981. In his youth he played the drums in a few bands and his first job was at Bailey’s Farm Store. Craig worked several jobs in his adult hood, and even owned his own mechanic business.

Craig enjoyed everything there was about working on vehicles, he like the challenge of diagnosing the issue with a motor, fixing a dent or a ding, or restoring a classic with great detail in the paint and body work.  He enjoyed the company of friends that often would just hang out while he was working.  What a better way to spend his days than in the presence of his friends, his friends were important to him.

Craig is survived by his brother Derek Thomas and his wife Beverly; nephew Michael Thomas and wife Taryn; and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald “Bud” D. and Danna (Partain) Thomas.

Craig’s family will gather for a time of reflection and farewell on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas.  To leave a message of condolence or share a memory visit www.fordwulfburnschapel.com
