Sandra Mcnabney

Sandra Lou McNabney 1939-2005 Sandra Lou McNabney, age 65, died Monday, August 8, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born October 26, 1939 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Roy W. McNabney and Mary Krugg McNabney. They preceded her in death. Sandra was never married. Sandra graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville and the Coffeyville Community College, where she completed her Associate of Arts Degree. She later graduated from the University of Kansas, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in radio and television. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and Young Republicans and KU-Y, while at the University of Kansas. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honorary scholastic society, a cheerleader and voted the female best personality in a campus poll, while at the Coffeyville Community College. In high school, she was a member of Sigma Pi honorary scholastic society, Senior Class Vice-President and a member of the Drum Corps. She worked for numerous radio stations upon completion of her Bachelors Degree and was last employed at Wal-Mart in Coffeyville. Her hobbies included playing bridge, reading, bowling and swimming. Sandy will be remembered for her friendly, outgoing personality. Survivors include 1 sister, Patricia Honssinger; 2 nieces, Cynthia Honssinger Coffman and Nancy Honssinger; several cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2005 from 8am-8pm at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at 2405 Woodland Ave. in Coffeyville. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10am in the Fairview City Cemetery in Coffeyville. Reverend Larry Cracraft will be officiating.
