Sarah "Babe" Ellen Saner, age 80 left this earthly home on December 7, 2018 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Sarah know by most as "Babe" was born on April 19, 1938 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Calvin and Lydia (Satchel) Cullison. Sarah attended school in Coffeyville with continuing her education at Coffeyville Community College. Sarah completed beauty school and owned and operated her own salon in Dearing for a number of years until her retirement in 1982. Sarah married Donald Antle in 1956 and of that union they had three sons, Dennis, Douglas and Curtis; the couple later divorced. On September 3, 1988 she married John Saner, together they just celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Sarah loved her Lord and Savior, her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family with a meal that she had prepared for them, she also enjoyed sewing, embroidering, her dog Rusty as well as collecting dolls. Her family loved her sense of humor and remembers and appreciates the strict household she ran protecting them from hardships. They also remember and can almost taste the Blackberry Cobbler that was a favorite made by her. Sarah was also very patriotic and appreciated the freedom that is protected by our armed services. She was a past President of the VFW and American Legion Women's Auxiliaries. Sarah was a member of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville.

Those to remember the strong embrace of her hugs and share in fond memories of Sarah's life, is her husband, John of the home, sons, Dennis Antle and his wife Kimmy, Douglas Antle and his wife Cindy, Curtis Antle and his wife Sherri; step-daughters, Debbie Lee Rich, Dianne Lee Ringer, Donna Lee Mitchell and husband Clay; grandchildren, Brianna Antle, Mikayla Antle, Brandon Antle and his wife Desirae, Jennifer A. Antle, Samantha Bush and Shannon Beye and husband David; step grandchildren, Wesley, Dale and Shanna Rich, Terry Plyler; numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Those who have preceded her in death are: brothers, George and John Cullison, sisters, Nadine Yarbrough, Iva Jeane Ogden and Mable Burrows.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas with Pastor Wayne Martin officiating, burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at the chapel. The family has requested memorial contributions be made payable to Coffeyville Friends of Animals, contributions may be left in care of the chapel.
