Savory Frank Franklin Peyton, age 71, of Grove, Oklahoma formerly of Coffeyville and Liberty, Kansas died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home in Grove, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013 at the FordWulfBruns Chapel with the Reverend Nathan Boldt officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery under the direction of the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas.

The family has suggested memorials to the Coffeyville FFA and contributions may be left at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Savory Frank Franklin Peton was born May 6, 1941 in Liberty, Kansas to Oscar Franklin and Margaret Ellen Hopkins Peyton. He grew up in the Liberty and Coffeyville, Kansas area and attended schools in Liberty. Frank was a farmer until he started trucking which he did his entire life.

On September 13, 1958 Frank married Glenna Kay Cottle and they made their home in the Liberty and Coffeyville area. The couple later divorced. In 1985 Frank married Judy Clark and they later divorced.

Survivors include one son Russell Peyton and wife Sandra of El Dorado, Kansas three daughters Lila Atkins and husband Keith of Caney, Kansas, Donna Stereck of Towanda, Kansas and Connie Brown of El Dorado, Kansas companion Sonja Sunny Payden of Grove, Oklahoma two brothers William Peyton of Bolivar, Missouri and Dale Peyton of Wichita, Kansas three sisters Barbara Abbott and Lois Giddens both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Kathy Berryman of Coffeyville, Kansas six grandchildren Vincent Neil Pursley, Christopher Nickelson, Russell Peyton Jr., Tonia Peyton, Rhenda Olson and Dustin Stereck eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Oscar, Mother Margaret, three sisters Ethel Thompson, Josephine Hayden, Corrine Thomas one brother Daryl Peyton, and one grandson Cody Peyton.
