Stanley Sebastian Klos age 68 of Dewey, OK formerly of Coffeyville, KS passed away on September 16, 2015 at Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Stanley was born on August 28, 1947 in concentration camp in Lubeka Germany to Piotr and Antonina (Cukier) Klimko. Stanley was emancipated at age 3 and then came stateside to New Jersey when he was 13. He graduated high school from Eastside High School and continued his education at Rutgers University before enlisting in the United States Army. Stanley proudly served his country, enduring two tours in Vietnam. When Stanley was honorably discharged he found work in aeronautics at Beechcraft. In 1997 he met Barbara Bates in a pool hall and lost a game of pool to her and decided then that he should marry the woman that could beat him. The couple was united in marriage in Miami, OK. Shortly after marriage they moved to Coffeyville to help take care of Barbara's ailing father. In 2013 the couple made their home in Dewey, OK where Stanley loved tending and naming his chickens, fishing, hunting, golfing, winning at the casino, and flying remote control helicopters. Stanley was a lifetime member of the Coffeyville VFW Post 1022, and was a proud veteran of this country. Above all Stanley loved his family, he was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Left to honor Stanley's memory is his wife Barbara, son; Wesley Lewis and his wife Stacie, daughters; Annette Klos, Trisha Jones and her husband Jason, Terri Rhame and her husband James, Angela Loree and her husband Shane, sisters; Cecelia Stefanczuk, Irene Brzyski, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Alex and Jerry Klos, and son Ricky Klos

Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel with Father Chad Arnold officiating, interment with military honors will follow at Robbins Cemetery.
