Stephen Davis

Stephen M. Davis, 56, of rural South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, passed away at his home Friday, August 8, 2008. The son of George amp; Lumonia Drews Davis, Stephen was born June 10, 1952 in Eugene, Oregon. He graduated from Wann High School, Wann Oklahoma. In September, 1976 he married Carol Rexwinkle in Miami, Oklahoma. He was employed by FedEx Freight, where he was a driver for twelve years and a manager for eight years. Mr. Davis enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with his family. Left to honor his memory are his parents, George and Lumonia Davis; wife, Carol; daughter, Stephanie Decker; sons, Andy Davis and Sean Patchett; sisters, Kay Harden, Patty Graves and Geanine Rexwinkle; brothers, Danny, Dale and Ronnie Davis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman amp; Elizabeth Drews and Fred amp; Lucy Davis; niece, Leann Harden and nephew, Jeff Rexwinkle. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the North Edna Cemetery in Edna, Kansas. Friends may call at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville, Kansas on Monday, August 11, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family will welcome friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
