Sue Ellen Miller-Hunt age 67, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home.
Susie was born October 10, 1954 in Coffeyville to Eddie and Virginia Miller. She was raised in Coffeyville, and attended Cedar Bluff School and graduated from Field Kindley High School with the class of 1972. Susie started working for Emerson, then found what she loved to do, cook. She worked at the Pig Stand for over 20 years. She then worked as the cook for Asbury Village. Susie was united in marriage to Stanford Hunt in 1991. She was a selfless, loving, caring, proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and wife. Susie loved going on vacation with the grandkids, going to dance recitals, games, and graduations. She loved music, Christmas, Donald Duck, shopping, word puzzles, going to the casino, and her Dr Pepper.
Susie’s memories will live on through her husband Stanford Hunt, daughter Heather Johnson, son Shawn Miller, son-in-law John Johnson daughter-in-law Kathy Harding, daughter Britney Abell, her brothers; John Miller, Bruce Miller, Jimmy Miller, and Richard Webb, grandchildren; Hayley Miller, Elijah Miller, Gabriel Harding, Jerzie Harding, Dre Harding, Hannah Johnson, Christian Johnson, Seth Johnson, and great-grandson Abel Shawn Miller, and many nieces and Nephews.
She now rest with her parents, brother Edward Miller, sister Nancy Wilson, and nephews Chad Miller and Danny Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Pastor Kevin O’Connor officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Chapel. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Ronald McDonald House of Wichita and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
