Sydney Elizabeth Tracy 1989 2006 Sydney Elizabeth Tracy, age 16, entered into rest on November 10, 2006 in rural Coffeyville, Kansas. Sydney was born on November 15, 1989 to James and Deborah LaPorte Tracy in Coffeyville, Kansas. Sydney was a Junior at Field Kindley Memorial High School. Sydney was on the honor society and carried a 4.0 gpa. Sydney was active in the Student Council, Debate, Forensics and was the manager for the Field Kindley High School basketball team. Sydney was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, Coffeyville and was very active with the youth group. Sydney was currently employed with Taco Mayo in Coffeyville. Survivors include: her mother, Deborah Calonder, step-father, Benjamin of Coffeyville, Ks. her father, James Tracy and step-mother, Sue Tracy of Coffeyville, Ks.; Two brothers, Paul Tracy, Overland Park, Ks.; Mason Tracy, Overland Park, Ks. Two step-sisters, Sarah and Shelby Joplin, Coffeyville, Ks. Maternal grandparents, Roy and Dolores Kitterman, Coffeyville, Ks. Maternal grandparents, Paul amp; Aida Laporte of Knob Noster, Mo. Maternal great-grandmother, Socorro Alcantar, Independence, Ks. Sydney is also survived aunts, uncles , Tina and David Alvidrez, Coffeyville; Charley and Kristi Laporte, Pittsburg; Maria and Terry Hensley, Coffeyville; Arlene Mitchell, Coffeyville; Alicia and Clark Cartwright, Delaware, Okla.; Robert and Diane Tracy, Liberty; William and Monica Tracy, Yuma, Az; and numerous cousins. Sydney was preceded in death by her maternal great-grand-parents, Paul E. and Stella Laporte; paternal grandparents Josephine and Robert Tracy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Coffeyville, KS. Rev. Rich Jenkins will be officiating.
