Thomas Head

Thomas William Head, 91, Coffeyville, passed away early Sunday morning at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1914, in Fullbright, Texas, the son of William E. and Ozetta Wright Head. Mr. Head was a sheet metal worker most of his life. He worked for Douglas Aircraft, Funk Manufacturing, Continental Can and Dixon Manufacturing. He served in the United States Army during W.W. II. He was a member of Coffeyville Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He married Florance Anita Marjorie Eppler in November of 1938. She passed away February 13, 2002. Other survivors include: 1 Son: Paul Head Coffeyville, Kansas 2 Daughters: Linda Riley Coffeyville, Kansas Margie Buster Coffeyville, Kansas 6 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Head will lie in state from 3-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Chapel.
