Thurman Patterson

Thurman H. Patterson 1913 2006 Thurman H. Patterson, age 93, formerly of Independence, Kansas, entered into rest on Friday evening, November 24, 2006. Mr. Patterson was a Windsor Place resident for the past 5 months in Coffeyville, Kansas. Thurman was born March 27, 1913 in Independence Township Montgomery County to John W. Patterson and Mable E. Miller Patterson. He was raised in the Bolton Community on the Family Farm. He attended Oak Ridge Elementary School as a child. He was a rancher and farmer all his life. Mr. Patterson lived in Northern California for nearly 20 years where he was a rancher before moving back to the Family Farm in Bolton in 1960. Survivors include his two daughters, Ilene Brunette and her husband Wayne of Arden Hills, MN; Fern Lee Potter and husband Theodore of Delta Junction, Alaska; One son, Marvin Patterson and wife Beth of Wichita, Kansas. Two grandchildren, Karla Schelb and husband Scott of Katy, Texas; Jeffrey Adam of Arden Hills, MN. Two great grandchildren, Jessica and Jaclyn Adam of St. Paul, MN. One sister, Twila Sprague, Independence, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Bolton Friends Church in Bolton, Kansas. Memorials preferred to the Thurman H.
