Vera A. McAfee 1920 - 2006 Vera A. Mcafee, age 85, Coffeyville resident passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1920 in Chautauqua County, Kansas to Uriah M. and Melvina Hadley. She was raised in Nowata County, Oklahoma. She married Ray P. McAfee. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She was a babysitter for many families in the Coffeyville Community. She is survived by her 2 sons Franklin McAfee and wife Tina of Coffeyville; Floyd McAfee and wife Mary, KC, Kansas. 4 sisters, 1 brother a host of granchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Calling Hours Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the Graveside prior to services.
